Snackity Snack

Hey, it’s Jason. I have a brand new section for the Blog where I buy snacks that may not be well known and not to everyone’s tastes. This will continue through the week until the weekend where I’ll have a recipe up for a delicious, filling vegetable curry.

This, folks, is a Cici jelly drink. this flavour happens to be lychee. The jelly drink is a nice light pink colour with Nata de coco in it; Nata de coco is a firm jelly-like substance made from the fermentation of coconut water…It’s quite pleasant. You’d think you’d use a spoon to eat it but it is really fun to actually use the provided straw. It has a surprisingly subtle taste to it. As a snack it, it gets a 4.5/5 as it may not be to everyone’s taste but it is a healthy snack that lasts and is resealable for later yum yums.

Aside from the title, Big Sheet is quite a flavourful snack. For those who don’t know; Big Sheet is a popular snack made and ate in Thailand, it’s made by frying seaweed and then flavoured or left ‘original’. This happens to be the chilli flavoured sheet of big…ness. For those wanting to try it, I’d recommend the chilli flavour as seaweed being seaweed, it has a strong ‘fishy’ flavour so the chilli does help take that away. However, if you like that sort of strong flavour, go for the original.

That’s it for today from me, give it a like if you want me to keep posting through the week, or if you just want to help me out. Share this as much as possible because it helps so much. If you want to keep reading, please follow and feel free to look through the archive at past posts. If you have any questions, don’t be shy and leave a little comment. 🙂

Bye bye for now – Jason xx
